Ragen claims that she is running faster but is constantly stopping to stretch her calves because she suffers from ‘tight Achilles Tendons.’ Which makes her times stagnant or sometimes, even worse, longer. Then says “according to my physical therapist,” it is a common problem with dancers.
First of all, who the hell has a physical therapist unless they are recovering from a injury? And what insurance plan is she on that is paying for all of these specialists?
Giving her the benefit of the doubt, maybe this is a common problem with dancers. But let’s be realistic here. Ragen isn’t a ‘dancer.’ She is not doing any sort of dance training. She is not practicing for hours, all day and every day. She wobbles around a stage in a low cut bra a couple of times a month and calls herself a burlesque dancer. You don’t believe me? Watch any of her ‘More Caberet‘ videos and find me one move, any move, that would label her a ‘dancer.’
Back to the running issue… according to a popular running magazine:
The Achilles is the large tendon connecting the two major calf muscles–the gastrocnemius and soleus–to the back of the heel bone. Under too much stress, the tendon tightens and is forced to work too hard.
Yup – the stress on Ragen’s calves comes from her wobbling around a stage once a week in a low cut bra and shitty lingerie. It has absolutely nothing to do with her weight. Whatever.
If nothing else, this post clearly proves how much of a hypocrite she is. She never shuts up about ‘listening to her body.’ She was cured from a lifetime of disordered eating because she stopped trying to lose weight and just ‘listened to her body.’ She even posted about ‘listening to her body’ while running and she had the best workout ever. Go Ragen!!!
Clearly, her calves are BEGGING her to stop. They are telling her that they can not handle the load. But because it doesn’t fit her agenda, Ragen suddenly ignores ‘her body?’
She can’t have her cake and eat it too.
